The Kitchen

The Kitchen at Rickaty on Blackwood is a modern kitchen, purpose built for cooking demonstrations and classes. It is furnished with brand new state of the art appliances and is surrounded by the picturesque gardens of Rickaty on Blackwood.

Our cooking demonstrations and classes are instructed by a variety of chefs and cooks covering a wide range of cuisines. Vegetarian and meat lover’s gastronomic delights are prepared with other workshops such as Olive Pickling, Cake Decorating and Kids Cooking Classes. We can organise special classes based on your needs and group numbers.

Wherever possible, local, seasonal produce is used. Our classes are limited to small numbers so you get plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor to ask questions, learn tips and tricks, and of course meet new people! Our experienced instructors will ensure you have a fun time, regardless of your age or skill level.

The Kitchen is also available for hire during the day or the evenings, 7 days a week (subject to availability). As every event is different, please contact us to discuss your requirements and allow us to provide a quotation for your upcoming event.
